Stumps left in the ground create voids, decompose, and cause settlement problems for everything built above them. We grind stumps and remove root balls to the depth required by your grading plan — eliminating organic material that causes long-term ground instability.

Once the site is clear, we move directly into rough grading — establishing the baseline elevations, drainage directions, and soil conditions that set up every phase of construction that follows. Clearing and grading under one contractor eliminates the transition gap.

Cleared sites are vulnerable to erosion — especially on Texas clay soils during rain events. We install silt fencing, hay bales, and other erosion control measures required by your permit so the site stays compliant and your cleared ground stays where you put it.
